Charging Starts as Broadband Trial Ends

THE national broadband network will open its fibre-optic cable for commercial services today, with retail prices ranging from about $35 to $165.

The government-owned company building the network, NBN Co, has finished a two-month technical trial and will start charging wholesale customers.
