Plea for level playing field triggers probe

INVESTIGATIONS into the competitive framework of the National Broadband Network are continuing and will include whether NBN Co's negotiations with Telstra for the transfer of networks is putting smaller players at a major disadvantage, it has been revealed.
The Productivity Commission's annual report, tabled in parliament on Friday, confirmed that the Australian Government Competitive Neutrality Complaints Office (AGCNCO) has received complaints from three greenfield fibre network operators.
